My products are made with the intention of the highest quality in mind. Most products are handcrafted by me in California. I spend countless hours love and attention to detail into each item. The creation of an item begins in my garden where I tend to a crazy large number of plants. These plants are photographed, then played with in Photoshop. The designs come alive as I make repeat patterns that are printed on fabric in North Carolina. I wash and dry the fabric and cut out, sew, iron and package each item. Unique handcrafted accessories for the home or wardrobe take a lot time and love to make!

However, I am one person and in order to provide you with the best selection and competitive pricing I am expanding my offerings with items made elsewhere. The leggings, boxer briefs, boy-shorts and silk scarves are made in Montreal, Canada. Their attention to detail and Canadian made fabrics make a well made product that I am proud to offer. The new line of organic tea towels and linen napkins are handcrafted for me in India per my design instructions. Tote bags are made for me in the USA. Know and trust that all items are designed by me in California and manufacturers have been extensively vetted to ensure the products are of the utmost quality.

Items made by me are washed prior to cutting and sewing. This means that cotton napkins and cotton/linen towels will hold their shape and have minimal shrinkage. Organic cotton towels and linen napkins will shrink 1-3%. Leggings, boxer briefs and boyshorts will shrink minimally. The best way to ensure that your items remain bright and colorful is to wash in cold water with a no phosphorus detergent, dried on low with no dryer sheets (vinegar works great!) and ironed on the back. See individual products for more specific washing instructions.

My workshop is scent free and pet free. Hand washing is a constant activity, but please consider washing your purchase before use.

Many people ask me if napkins need to be ironed. I always say, “it depends.” I grew up with a mother who loved to iron – with her hands or an actual iron! I personally only iron napkins at holiday time. Daily use napkins and towels are taken immediately out of the dryer when the cycle is done (this is the secret to neat-ish looking table linens), shaken and snapped, hand pressed and folded. They look neat and tidy. If you like your napkins crisp with sharp edges, get your iron out and press away!

See a pattern you love or need a special sized custom table cloth? I can make it for you. Custom orders take 4-12 weeks to complete and ship depending on the complexity of the request. Custom orders may require payment in me plus a 10% custom fee and shipping. Please note that there are no returns on custom orders. For more information on custom orders, please contact me at
