Ms. DuMont creates a beautiful product that is meticulously constructed. We hope you love your order and it meets or even exceeds your expectations. It is very important to us that you are completely satisfied with your purchase.

If for any reason you would like to return or exchange your product, please contact Ms. DuMont within 3 days of receiving it. I do not refund merchandise that has been used, damaged or is otherwise non-salable.

Refunds will be credited once the item is received. Shipping charges are non-refundable. The product must be returned in its original, unused condition with all tags attached. Please include a copy of your receipt. For your protection, please return your order with an insured trackable courier. We are not responsible for items that are damaged or lost in transit.

If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. Such a determination is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the appearance, smell, and/or general condition of the item when it is returned. This includes returned items that have been exposed to aftershave, perfumes, laundry detergent scents and pet hair. I pride myself in being a scent free and pet free shop to provide the most allergy free products possible for all of my customers. A 10% restocking fee will be applied on any items that need to be laundered due to the aforementioned exposure. Thank you for your understanding.

I do not accept returns or issue refunds on face masks, sale items, custom ordered and backordered items or personalized items. All sales for items purchased at craft shows or events are final.

All return shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer. When exchanging an item for another, the buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.

Please feel free to contact me at Info@MsDuMont.com if you have any questions.

I am unable to refund or exchange merchandise purchases made at craft fairs or trade shows. All sales are final. Please choose carefully. Your satisfaction is important to me, so please let me know if there is a problem with your item, and contact me at info@MsDuMont.com.

Due to supply chain issues and driver shortages, please allow 3-7 weeks for backorders to arrive. Your satisfaction is important to me so please let me know ASAP if there is a problem with your order or if you would like more information about how long individual product backorders take. Thank you for your patience.

Sorry, there are no refunds on backordered items, please choose carefully.

My products are made with the intention of the highest quality in mind. Most products are handcrafted by me in California. I put countless hours of love and attention into each item. The creation of an item begins in my garden where I tend to a crazy large number of plants. These plants are photographed, then played with in Photoshop. The designs come alive as I make repeat patterns that are digitally printed on fabric in North Carolina. I wash and dry the fabric and cut out, sew, iron and package each item. Unique handcrafted accessories for the home or wardrobe take a lot time and love to make!

However, I am one person and in order to provide you with the best selection and competitive pricing I am expanding my offerings with items made elsewhere. Leggings, boxer briefs, boy-shorts, tote bags, silk scarves, and some pillow covers are made in Montreal, Canada. Their attention to detail and Canadian made fabrics make a well made product that I am proud to offer. The new line of organic tea towels and linen napkins are handcrafted for me in India per my design instructions. Know and trust that all items are designed by me in California and manufacturers have been extensively vetted to ensure the products are of the utmost quality.

Items made by me are washed prior to cutting and sewing. This means that cotton napkins, aprons and cotton/linen towels will hold their shape and have minimal shrinkage. Organic cotton towels and linen napkins will shrink 1-3%. Leggings, boxer briefs and boyshorts will shrink minimally.

The best way to ensure that your items remain bright and colorful is to wash in cold water with a non-phosphorus detergent, dried on low with no dryer sheets (vinegar works great!). Iron on the back side of napkins and towels.

My workshop is scent free and pet free. Hand washing is a constant activity, but please consider washing your purchase before use.

Many people ask me if napkins need to be ironed. I always say, “it depends.” I grew up with a mother who loved to iron – with her hands or an actual iron! I personally only iron cotton napkins at holiday time. My secret to neat-ish looking table linens is to take them out of the dryer immediately when the cycle is done, shake and snap them, and hand press and fold. They look neat and tidy. If you like your napkins crisp with sharp edges, get your iron out and press away!

100% linen napkins and 55% linen/45% cotton towels tend to wrinkle more when laundered and will most likely require ironing.

See a pattern you love or need a special sized custom table cloth? I can make it for you! Custom orders take 4-12 weeks to complete and ship depending on the complexity of the request. Custom orders require payment in advance and depending on the complexity, a 10% custom fee and shipping. Please note that there are no returns on custom orders.
